An artistic journey

The world of watercolour is like the technique itself: organic, fluid and alive. It has build a vast network, obviously thanks to all the artists who practice it but also to all the enthusiasts – almost all of them volunteers, the fact deserves to be highlighted - who organize events in order to show the best of watercolour. This issue, in the image of their enthusiasm, seeks, as all the previous ones, to offer an artistic snapshot taking the form of a worldwide panorama. Our journey around the world will take us to Dean Mitchell, Corneliu Dragan-Targoviste and Sergey Temerev, whose vast sky vistas never cease to amaze. We will also cross the Mediterranean to meet Djelloul Merhab, a young Algerian watercolourist who offers us his portraits full of humanism and empathy for his models. Many more fantastic discoveries await in this winter issue of “The Art of Watercolour”. Happy reading… and enjoy your artistic journey!
